By accessing or using LexRyte ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Platform.

2. Use of the Platform

LexRyte is designed exclusively for legal professionals. You agree to:

  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Not use the Platform to provide formal legal advice to third parties without appropriate qualifications.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

LexRyte uses artificial intelligence to assist with legal research and document analysis. All AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute formal legal advice. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated analysis before relying on it in any legal proceedings.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of LexRyte — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and design — are the exclusive property of LexRyte and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Data and Confidentiality

You retain ownership of all legal documents and case data you upload to the Platform. We will not share, sell, or disclose your data to third parties except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, LexRyte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  • Provide and improve the LexRyte Platform.
  • Process AI analysis on your uploaded documents.

3. PDPA Compliance

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), we process your personal data only with your consent or where permitted by law. You have the right to access, correct, and withdraw consent for the processing of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • AI providers (e.g. Google Gemini) solely to process your document analysis requests.
  • Infrastructure providers for hosting and storage.
  • Authorities when required by Malaysian law.
6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Case documents are retained until you delete them or close your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
